The Turner Family

Turner fam

Stella Turner has always dreamed of being a star. When she was still in school, she already appeared in every school play and everyone said she had real talent. Stella got pregnant by her high school boyfriend Jermaine not long after high school though and since neither of them had any form of higher education, they both had to work hard to provide for their little family. Pursuing talent is not always a sure way to provide a living, so Stella had to put her ambitions on hold. Another child was born and to top it all off, Jermaine decided the family life was more than he could handle and he left. Stella continued to work at the grocery store and has worked her way up and became manager, but that’s really not the dream she once had…

  1. Hmmm, I’m wondering if Stella is the “stage mother” type! I can see a mother with an unfulfilled dream being really happy when her daughter succeeds where she didn’t, but also really jealous. Or maybe just overly involved. Very keen to find out how Stella figures into that!

  2. Awww, I feel sorry for Stella! Being a manager at the local grocery is certainly not the life she had hoped for, far from the glitters of the star-system!
Abigail looks gorgeous! Ooohoo, a previous affair with Duncan!

  3. Losing a dream doesn’t have to make you bitter and angry, she has 2 beautiful kids and now that they’re grown she can move into life 2.0! 🙂

  4. Okay, I always wish for simmies to find love, but ohh, I really hope that Stella will meet someone nice! Soon she will be on her own with no kids at home!! She seems like a great mom!
And I’m rooting for Abigail! YEAH, you’ll be star news anchor someday!!!!

  5. Poor Stella. I just want to give her a giant hug. I’m glad that she encouraged her daughter to work hard and not make her mistakes, though. Plus, we have this wonderful view of your grocery store now! 😉
